"I have abandoned my practice of ashtanga asana series for this sustainable approach to Yoga. My knees hurt less now that I have learned to position my hip correctly in trikonasana and virbhadrasana B. I will continue to use the Hale Pule blueprint for my practice, and look forward to trying new postures as I am ready for change. I think it will calm vata not to shift position every 5 breaths, but stay for 20 breaths. I find that very hard not to, but it gets better.  Thank you Myraji."

"Slowing down my morning asana routine has made such a difference to my day. Getting my feet into correct alignment right through to my head alignment is something to keep focus on during the day, especially as I do use a stand-up desk."

Hear Myraji's Story

I started Hale Pule over 30 years ago with one mission: to share the teachings and wisdom of Ayurveda and Yoga. The transformation and fulfillment I found in myself and witnessed in others has been profound. It has deepened my commitment to sharing these sister sciences together so they have the greatest effect.

In the earlier years of my Yoga teaching, I had fulfilling experiences with my teachers including Patthabhi Jois, Betty Eiler, Richard Freeman, and Sandra Kozak. I came to appreciate the classical student-teacher relationship. I also learned how to see what a student needs — whether I’m teaching online or in person.

These classes are our online Yoga shala, a way for us to connect as a global community of seekers and experience the healing benefits of Yoga. You’ll be astonished at the transformation that’s possible when Yoga and Ayurveda are practiced together.

I look forward to seeing you in class.
