Are you feeling overwhelmed by your relationship with food?

Does any of this resonate with you?

Title

Feeling anxious after eating something you consider "wrong"

Eating foods that make you feel bad to avoid missing out

Always thinking about your next meal and what you can or can't eat

Sticking with restrictive diets that don’t seem to work for your body

Using food to cope with stress, feelings, and emotions

Knowing what’s healthy but struggling to stay with it, perhaps followed by guilt

Oscillating between strict eating plans and binge eating healthy or junk food

Mindlessly snacking to distract yourself, especially when bored

Overindulging in sugary foods for a quick boost, only to regret it later

Struggling in relation to food
can lead to feelings of guilt, shame, and frustration...

You may find yourself isolating, avoiding others who seem to have it all figured out.

It’s time-consuming, draining your energy and your finances as you chase solutions yet continue the compulsive behaviours. Diets, exercise plans, supplements, medications — even invasive surgeries — promise results but often fall short and don’t address the root cause of the struggle.

My journey

with food and eating

When I was young..

My family made unkind comments about my body. When I looked in the mirror,

I saw their rude comments instead of things as they were. I was unhappy often and looking for ways to feel better in my body. I tried all kinds of restrictions

— no oil, no salt, no sugar — sometimes not eating at all for days, only to overeat later. It was exhausting and I was sick of it.

As an adult..

People used to comment on how much I was eating; I could consume 2-3 times more than others around me. I thought my marathon running justified it

— or at least I could use that justification when I wasn’t too injured to run, which was often. I imposed strict rules on myself, avoiding oils, salts, and sugars for years while traveling extensively for work. This cycle left me stressed and miserable. Eventually I was hospitalized for gallstones, damage from the longstanding restriction-overeating cycle.

In a pivotal moment..

I rejected surgery to remove my gallbladder and walked out of the hospital to seek an alternative path. Ayurveda and Yoga entered my life, offering tools to unravel my subconscious patterns of self-sabotage and transform my relationship with food from within.

I discovered the true root of my troubled relationship with food — it wasn’t about finding the perfect diet or exercise regimen or fasting.

It was about connecting to myself, my life, and nature — including my own true nature more deeply.

and...

Over three decades, I’ve guided thousands to discover their path to food freedom

— a journey back to themselves.

What Our Clients Are Saying

From struggle to freedom, in gentle and nurturing steps.

Paula / Australia

“My relationship with food improved so much by working with Myra. My anxiety level was reduced by following the recommended schedules, since I already know that there are 3 times of the day when I will enjoy a nutritious, fresh and delicious meal.

These are sacred moments in which I have learned to be grateful and take the time to connect with myself, listen to my body and enjoy life feeling energetic and satisfied.

I am very grateful to have found this light on my path and to be able to enjoy my menstrual cycle again, and I hope to be a mother again one day.”

Madelom / Sweden

“I came to Ayurveda because of the physical symptoms - IBS, gut disbiosis, leaky gut, food intolerances, allergies, extreme bloating, inflammation, the list goes on.

I thought my relationship with food was completely fine and had nothing to do with it - I actually felt resistance to exploring this. Well, it turned out there was A LOT under the surface.

After so much searching and trying everything, I finally found the root cause of it all. Ayurveda and Yoga taught me the principles from nature and gave me tools to guide myself back to a place of balance.

My biggest transformation was not just physical, mental or emotional. It was spiritual. I developed faith, in myself and in life. This makes me feel whole on all levels and able to enjoy the flow of life with great contentment

I'm so grateful for Myra and Hale Pule for sharing this great wisdom.”

Frequently Asked Questions

Have questions? We’re here to help

Title

What are the pre-requisites for joining Yoga of Eating?

If you're new to Ayurveda or Hale Pule, we recommend completing our foundational Ayurveda program Agni Therapy before joining Yoga of Eating. If you haven't done Agni Therapy and would like to purchase Yoga of Eating, book a clarity call with a member of our enrollment team. They'll support you in determining which program is the best fit for you.

I have already taken Hale Pule’s Agni Therapy program,

do I need this?

Yoga of Eating is a natural next step after Agni Therapy. The first two weeks will be mostly review. As an Agni Therapy program member you’re eligible for a discount.

Can this program fit my dietary preferences? Do I have to be vegetarian? What if I’m vegan?

You’ll learn Ayurvedic principles for eating aligned with the nature of your body. There are no rules, only principles. Vegans and meat eaters alike can follow these principles for great results.

How much time do I need to invest?

Set aside a minimum of 2-4 hours per week. As you heal, you’ll have more energy and time for what’s important in your life.

What if I need support during the program?

Our online community is here for you. The feed is monitored daily.

Is this suitable if I’m pregnant or breastfeeding?

Yes, with modifications.

Can Ayurveda help with my specific health condition or diagnosis?

Yes it can. We recommend adding a 1:1 Ayurvedic health consultation to your program experience.

Are there extra expenses outside of the program cost?

You’ll continue to shop for your own food and you might like to get a meditation cushion and Yoga mat if you don’t have them.

What if I can’t access Ayurvedic ingredients where I live?

Most are easy to find. If you can’t find something, replace it with something with similar qualities. Post in the feed for prompt substitution ideas from the Hale Pule staff.

Will there be a meal plan for me to follow?

There is no set meal plan. We provide a framework based on Ayurvedic principles that will support balanced digestion and doshas and sample recipes and cookbooks. Within the framework, you can do what works for you using local ingredients and cooking cuisines you enjoy.
