Ericka Kilgore / Guidance Lead Counselor

Ericka joined Myra in 2020 to live in devotion to the teachings of Ayurveda and Yoga and to support the mission of Hale Pule. She’s an Ayurvedic health counselor and chef, and Guidance Lead at Hale Pule. It’s her joy to support Hale Pule’s students to have a personalized experience of Ayurveda that ignites healing, expansion, and connection. She received her Ayurveda Health Counselor certification in 2018 and went on to complete Clinical Mentoring under the guidance of Myra.

As a child, Ericka had a fascination with the elements and the cycles of the natural world that foretold her future as a student and teacher of Ayurveda. In the midst of physical, mental, and spiritual disease in her early adulthood, she discovered Ayurveda and “it just made sense.”  With Myra’s guidance and sattvic approach, Ericka restored balance and found a level of well-being and connection beyond what she ever thought was possible.

Hale Pule's Certification Trainings

Title

The trainings were designed by Myra Lewin and the Hale Pule team in 2014. At that time they were in accordance with the standards of the National Ayurvedic Medical Association (NAMA) based in the USA. The training curriculums are geared to a global community and are based on holistic principles of nature. They are rooted in the direct transmission of Ayurveda and Yoga received by Myra in over 30+ years of dedicated study and clinical experience.

Our approach aims to empower students to practice and embody Ayurveda themselves. Living by example makes it easy for students to step into working with others. We maintain a holistic approach, emphasizing practical and experiential education, with a spiritual foundation.

Our trainings function independently and well beyond most associations. We encourage our students to be aware of regulations for practicing with clients in their area. Most associations have no governing authority and their certification is not mandatory to share and practice Ayurveda.
