I came to Yoga in 2009 at a local health club where I was teaching fitness classes.
They needed a Yoga teacher, so I signed up to take a Yoga training. I was instantly
drawn to how the postures made me feel. Over time, I realized that Yoga was
helping me connect deeper to my body and mind. I felt more at ease, more
grounded and more centered. After years of pushing my body too hard, Yoga
helped me realize that I needed to slow down. I began to deepen my Yoga studies,
eventually being trained in Yoga therapy. My mission was to help others connect
to their bodies through a conscious and intentional Yoga practice.

I was introduced to Ayurveda through one of my Yoga teachers. She had studied
with Hale Pule and encouraged me to study with them. After taking a course on
Yoga and Ayurveda, I felt very drawn to Ayurveda. It made sense to me. It helped
me learn more about myself. It helped me heal my relationship with my body,
with food and helped me understand my mind more. I decided to study with Hale
Pule and graduated in 2021 from the AHC program. I now have a small business
where I see clients for Ayurveda consultations. I also continue to practice and
teach Yoga to others.

In my free time, I enjoy being with my husband, our 13 - year- old daughter, and
our dog. I love to walk and hike in nature. I love the water. I really enjoy cooking
and my family and I spend lots of time in our kitchen. I also enjoy reading. In the
summer and fall, you will find me often on a local golf course.

I am lifelong learner of Ayurveda and continue to use the practices from both Yoga
and Ayurveda to keep me balanced and to support my body and mind. I am also
passionate and excited to keep sharing my upper most learnings and experiences
with others.
