Yoga and Ayurveda are designed to work together to create greater peace and well-being in our lives. Yoga practiced with an Ayurvedic foundation initiates deep and lasting transformation. Embrace a more expansive view of Yoga by purposefully integrating an Ayurvedic perspective into your personal practice and your teaching.
In this intensive weekend course, you will be guided to:
- Develop a more holistic approach to teaching sadhana that is firmly grounded in the ancient vedic sciences of Yoga and Ayurveda.
- Bring depth to your practice and teaching by tapping into the wisdom of nature’s prime subtle energies: the maha gunas of rajas, tamas and sattva.
- Utilize the alchemy of the doshas and create practices that will bring balance to the whole system of body, mind and spirit.
- Understand how Ayurveda and Yoga work together to initiate deep and lasting healing by increasing sattva in the mind and body.
*** While this workshop is designed for Yoga teachers, devoted Yogis who are seeking to deepen their personal practice are also welcome to attend.
